Traveling Exhibits
The Education Department has created two traveling exhibits, Space at Your Place and Fantastic Voyage.
Along with the materials included in each exhibit, you will receive a packet of background information and
a number of suggested activities. These exhibits can be scheduled for two weeks for $50, each additional
week is $20. Fee includes exhibit delivery, set up, and removal by museum staff.
Space at Your Place
Space at your place includes the solar system, satellites, rockets, space vehicles, and the International Space Station.
Fantastic Voyage
Fantastic Voyage allows you to travel around the world without leaving your classroom. You will receive a set of vintage travel
posters to display. Each poster features a different country and a different aircraft. Put them together, and you and your students
will have made a trans-world flight while learning about geography, history, science and art. Above is an example.
Planning a Science Day? A variety of our outreach programs can be adapted to meet your needs.
