**Guided Tours of the Restoration Area are only available on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Excessive noise may be experienced on the tour.

Free Tuesday

The San Diego Air & Space Museum is free the 4th Tuesday of every month to San Diego County residents, active duty military and their dependents and college students who have a valid San Diego County school ID. All out of county persons must pay the regular price for admission.

Guided Tours

Docent-guided tours give visitors insight into the people, aircraft and spacecraft of the fascinating story of flight. Our docents are highly dedicated volunteers with an extensive knowledge of aerospace history and technology.

  • Docent-guided tours can be scheduled in advance for groups of ten or more.
  • Docent-guided tours are available for school groups for grades 3 and up. See Teacher Resources for more information
  • Tours are FREE to public and private school groups from San Diego County with a reservation.
  • Any group that arrives without a reservation must pay the regular admission price and is not guaranteed a guided tour.

Photography

Non-commercial photography and video recording are permitted. Commercial photography is not allowed without the written consent of the San Diego Air & Space Museum. To arrange a commercial photo or video recording session please contact the Museum at (619) 234-8291 ext. 139.
